Marijke de Moel
Marijke de Moel
was born in Breda in 1977.
From 1996 till 1977 she studied at St. Joost School of the Arts in Breda.
In 1997 she switched to Music and Technology at Utrecht University of the Arts and became one of my students, she was very talented
and a lovely personality to work with.
In 2002 she graduated in composition and performance with honors.
Marijke developed a brain tumor during her trip around the world,
she was in Australia by then.
She was courageous in her fight against cancer but in the end she lost.
Marijke past away on the 27th of October 2002.
Her final resting place is at Zorgvlied cemetery in Amsterdam.
ZV02 is for Marijke.
We still miss her deeply.
